Free Virtual Clinical Trial Results

Get a pre-readout GO/NO-GO prediction and effect-size estimate for any ongoing trial with an upcoming readout — sourced live from ClinicalTrials.gov, one trial at a time.

What this is

A BVCT (BioinvestGPT Virtual Clinical Trial) produces a model-based, pre-readout prediction — an estimated effect size and a GO/NO-GO call with rationale — for a real, ongoing clinical trial, months before that trial reports. This guide shows the fastest path: point the platform at a sponsor, pull its ongoing trials straight from ClinicalTrials.gov, narrow to the ones reading out in your window, and generate one BVCT per trial.

BVCT predictions are generated from drug structure, mechanism of action, disease biology, and public clinical-trial registry metadata — no proprietary patient-level data and no access to the sponsor's confidential datasets are required. The platform's prospective (ex-ante) track record is published at data.bioinvestgpt.com.

Typical use cases: investment and valuation work, business development / licensing diligence, and internal pipeline GO/NO-GO prioritization — anywhere a credible read on a trial before its data drops is valuable.

Before you begin

Viewing this guide is free and needs no account. Running BVCTs requires a signed-in account with BVCT Quota:

Sign in with a provisioned account before the live exercise so you don't hit the quota gate mid-run.

Open the workflow

1

Open BVCT Remediation

Hub page with the Clinically Derisk M&A card highlighted

From the Hub, click START on the "Clinically Derisk M&A" card (shown here) — or go straight to https://bvct.bioinvestgpt.com/#/validator/remediation. Confirm the BVCT Type toggle is set to ONGOING (the default).

You can ignore the amber "M&A Due Diligence" panel for this workflow — it's a separate deal-evaluation form. Everything you need is the two sponsor fields and the fetch button below it.

Tip: If you typed the URL directly and don't land on the Remediation planner, open #/validator and click "BVCT Remediation" in the sidebar.
1

Type the exact sponsor name and ticker

Sponsor name and ticker fields

Because the BVCT Type is ONGOING, the two main fields are labelled "Provide the exact company/sponsor name" and "Provide the exact company/sponsor ticker".

  • Sponsor name — type it exactly as it appears on ClinicalTrials.gov (e.g., Novo Nordisk A/S, Eli Lilly and Company).
  • Ticker — the stock ticker (e.g., NVO, LLY).
Tip: The sponsor name must match the registry's lead-sponsor name, or the fetch may return no trials. If unsure, check the sponsor on clinicaltrials.gov first.

Fetch ongoing trials

1

Pull the sponsor's active trials from ClinicalTrials.gov

Fetch Ongoing Human Clinical Trials button

Click "Fetch Ongoing Human Clinical Trials". The platform queries the ClinicalTrials.gov API for that sponsor's active interventional studies and returns, for each trial: NCT ID, brief title, phase, status, enrollment, and Primary Completion Date.

The Primary Completion Date is the readout date — it's what you'll filter on next. When the fetch finishes, click "View N Ongoing Trials Found" to open the results.

Filter to the readout window

1

Narrow to trials reading out in your window

Trials modal with Primary Completion Date filter

In the trials list, set the Primary Completion Date "from" and "to" filters to your readout window — for example, the next 6–12 months. Optionally filter by phase (e.g., Phase 2/3) and status, and sort by completion date so the soonest readouts are on top.

Tip: Filtering to the readout window first keeps the set small — important, because every trial you select becomes its own full BVCT run.

Select the trials to run

1

Click "Use" on each target trial

Use button per trial row

For each trial you want to value, click "Use". Its NCT ID is added to a comma-separated list; trials already added show an "Added" badge. Pick as many upcoming-readout trials as you want to model for this sponsor.

Generate one BVCT per trial

1

Generate

Generate produces one BVCT per NCT

Click Generate. The platform builds one BVCT per NCT ID — each with its own protocol and its own pre-readout prediction.

Each trial is a full model run (about a dozen AI steps), so generation runs sequentially within this session. There is no background batch today — keep the tab open until it finishes.

Tip: Selecting many trials multiplies the quota cost and the wait. Start with a small batch (≈3–5 trials).

Read your results

1

Review the prediction for each trial

BVCT result with effect size and GO/NO-GO

Open each generated BVCT. You'll see a predicted effect size (vs. standard of care) and a GO/NO-GO call with supporting rationale — available months before the real readout. That's the figure to carry into your valuation, diligence, or prioritization work.

Records also appear under the Remediation and Results panels in the left sidebar. For a deeper diligence artifact on a priority asset, promote any BVCT into the 11-module protocol package at #/validator/packages.

Tip: BVCT comparative numbers are modeled, not observed in a head-to-head clinical trial. Treat the prediction as decision support — see the note at the bottom of this page.

Run many & budget your quota

To cover a portfolio, repeat the loop sponsor by sponsor — name + ticker → Fetch → filter to the readout window → Use → Generate — and track what you've run in a simple worksheet:

SponsorTickerNCTPhaseReadout dateBVCT GO/NO-GOPredicted effect sizeDecisionNotes
One row per trial you BVCT.

Quota budgeting

Filter to the readout window first, run in batches of ≈3–5 trials, and budget per-BVCT cost × number of trials before clicking Generate.

Worked example

A concrete end-to-end run on a real ongoing trial. (Primary completion dates are sponsor estimates and can change — confirm on the live registry.)

What you doType "Novo Nordisk A/S" + "NVO" → Fetch → filter Primary Completion Date to your window → "Use" this NCT → Generate.
What you getA pre-readout BVCT: predicted effect size vs. standard of care + a GO/NO-GO call with rationale, roughly a year ahead of the trial's data.

FAQ

Do I need the sponsor's permission or data?

No. Inputs are public: the sponsor's name/ticker and public ClinicalTrials.gov metadata. No proprietary patient-level data is used.

Why one trial at a time / why the wait?

Each trial is a complete BVCT (about a dozen server-side AI steps) and runs within your session. There is no background batch yet — run sponsors in small batches and keep the tab open.

The fetch returned nothing.

Check that the sponsor name matches the lead-sponsor name on ClinicalTrials.gov exactly, and that the sponsor actually has active interventional trials.

Where do my results go?

Into the Remediation and Results panels in the left sidebar. You can revisit them and, for priority assets, generate the full 11-module package.
